There are teachers in all realms of life, including the spiritual realm. My teachers, Sant Darshan Singh and Sant Rajinder Singh have guided me towards a total development. They’ve shown me that our essence is the soul. I recognize the physical, emotional and mental needs, but the necessity for developing the spirit is one of the most important goals in our life. Meditation is a main tool for me. In the tradition of Sant Mat, we learn how to rise above body consciousness, enhancing the inner self. It has freed me to tap within that source, and write compositions, communicating my message. My own creativity then flows through me, from the Creator. Compositions come to me in a spiritual way, and not through the intellect alone. At times, I am the conduit. Sometimes I hear the whole band playing. I then open up and channel the music for others to hear.
